Beckoned by eyes in the night, to gaze upon the shadows & walk with the souls forgotten by time.
Up through the trees of mystery! Through the night of death! Crossing the oceans of failure. March the deceased relics of existence!

The silence and isolation grow more deafening.
I see only one solution through this gale.
As the walls grow closer, the choir of pain crashendos.
I see that I, depraved by solitude, must join the relics immemorial.

All feelings rotting from my heart.
My feet feel helpless to carry this burden anymore.
As I am crushed by a Great Persecutor.
I buckle underneath the growing expectation to revert!

As the clouds break open, reveal dizzying emanations.
I’m reduced to nothing in their majesty.
The Heavenly winds that guide the souls to salvation & steer me towards eternal bliss.
Before me, the Parapet collapses, the Illusion in Ruin.

...And I saw before me the Bringer of the End gazing upon me.
With eyes so cold, a daggered stare, marred with ice and loneliness.
He proclaimed, unveiled my fate:
“You shall live forever! An eternity to gaze upon the suffering.
Immortality to watch loved ones die and never enjoy the love promised!”
