I feel the pain, solitary shame.
I will exalt the love within me.
I dreamed your heart was in my hands.
But he holds it close with ball and chain.
We grew so close as Delphic lovers.
Never to be heard, never to be seen.
For if the world knew, we would be done.
Yet still I mourn for a time that will never come!
In the life I was once loved I start to fade.
My heart dies in her hands while I mourn.
Its like I've faded in her eyes and memories.
She lives on chained to the one she calls God.
In this black fog of hate and misery,
My sympathies wither away like shifting sand
God give me the strength to stay alive long enough
That she passes into memory, into the dust!
Her eyes lead me to her heart, a warm caress.
My pain leads me from her eyes, back to my hatred, burning for her.
Her lips taste of shallow lies and deep remorse!
The guilt inside her tears her apart as it does to me and my bloody heart!

Do not attempt to break me from my hell, I do not need to see the light.
This burning hate I hold for myself, lives eternally inside.
Now only in the end will I love again when I've died.

Some bands have struggled since the old spicy cough came along, but Krallice have absolutely flourished, releasing 5 albums in the last 3 years. It’s one thing to be prolific like they have, but one could argue that these last few albums are among the bands best work to date. So when they went and dropped this album on us, It’s fair to say that I was rather fucking excited. And my god is it good. Even when writing synth heavy instrumentals they know how to draw the listener in. A special band
