lyrics
I arise with the sun, aching with pain.
Muddling though each day, isolation my only friend.
As the sun cusps its arch, the icy winds blow
As my hope withers in the cold.
The amaranth dies neath the frozen soil
And burst up a bouquet of aconites and marigolds!
In this year I set for improvement, I'll succumb to the same vices again!
My memories sting like the hornets at dawn and fill my body with poison!
I'll ignore the pain, pump alcohol into my veins until I'm numb with the poison!
Sometimes I feel the warmth of impossible joy of a reality created in my mind!
Where I breath happiness and my life is filled with joy!
Where all my misery is gone!
But this reality is broken at the break of dawn
And I arise to the same turmoil and pain!

minimal, slow, gloomy, and eventually all consuming sadness. I admire the restraint and control of dynamics and the ability to shape such a long epic without resorting to predictability. sometimes you just need music like this that understands your mood Giles
